I am committed to diversity, cultural competency, and continuous learning.  My long-term goal is to work with LBTQIA+ youth and their families to provide the support essential for this population to thrive. I am youth-oriented, family-centered, and community-driven. I am committed to continuous learning while building valuable relationships with the communities I serve. I have worked in child welfare for ten years. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise from my years of service and education. I have been trained in motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care. I have met with families on their worst days and am not easily intimidated by overwhelming circumstances. I have a unique ability to bring calm into chaotic situations. I am well versed in using multiple platforms to obtain and assess information quickly. I have extensive experience writing assessments and analyses. I serve my community as a leader and example of service, dedication, and growth.
