In 2020, I began working as a retail associate at The Home Depot due to the pandemic's impact on the job market. Eager to advance my career, I continuously upgraded my skills, leading to my first role as a technical writer. This position involved understanding complex systems and producing a variety of technical documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational procedures, and developer documentation with sample codes. Additionally, I managed cybersecurity documentation, focusing on compliance materials. This experience sparked my interest in cybersecurity, especially in areas of risk assessment, research, and compliance, highlighting the  everchanging landscape of the IT field.

Inspired by these experiences, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in information technology. I am also currently a candidate for the ComTIA Security+ certification. My journey from retail to technology has enhanced my adaptability and eagerness to engage in more technically challenging roles.
