About
I’m Karthik Burra, a Master of Science in Finance candidate at Fordham University with a GPA of 3.91, specializing in financial modeling, corporate finance, and machine learning for finance. My experience spans multiple domains, from trade finance at NatWest, where I reconciled over 25,000 cross-border transactions and helped design AML controls, to investment research at Kreo Capital, where I conducted valuation analysis on 30+ public companies.
At PagarBook, I worked on product and growth, helping launch a new early salary loan product by profiling over 350 SMEs, analyzing customer behavior data, and supporting go-to-market strategy. This role sharpened my ability to translate data into actionable business decisions while working across teams.
I’m a CFA Level 1 candidate with technical proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and the Bloomberg Terminal. I currently serve as a Senior Board Member of the Fordham Finance Society and was elected President of the Student Council at Jain College.
I’m excited to collaborate within the CapSource network, applying my cross-functional finance, product, and analytics experience to help solve real-world business problems.
