The goal is to understand the energy landscape, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies that empower universities to lead the way in energy efficiency and decarbonization.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
To successfully complete this project, the students will require a combination of skills and expertise, along with the use of specific tools. Some of the essential skills and tools may include:
 
1.     Energy Management and Engineering: Knowledge and understanding of energy management principles, energy systems, and engineering concepts to analyze and optimize energy efficiency in university settings. Logical Buildings staff will provide guidance in these areas.
2.     Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting comprehensive research on university energy programs, state agency programs, electrification initiatives, and energy transition strategies.
3.    Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret energy consumption data, emissions data, and financial metrics to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and decarbonization.
4.    Sustainability and Renewable Energy: Understanding of renewable energy technologies, such as solar and wind, and their integration into university campuses. Familiarity with sustainability practices and strategies.
5.    Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies to strategically plan and develop energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives within university settings.
