Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
  1. Conduct market research on the highest services growth market in the Salesforce ecosystem (by "cloud", i.e, Salesforce product offering) over the next 5 years and where we should plan our resources. We will give more information on particular clouds at the beginning of the engagement. 
  2. Salesforce is a leader in the CRM space with a lot of growth and momentum in the AI market as well. 
  3. This will allow our organization to strategically allocate resources and focus on developing expertise in the most promising and lucrative area of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  4. We will look to segment this research by industry vertical and will constrain the research to North America and the middle market (above SMB and below Global 2000).
  5. Time permitting, we’d like to extend this to research to include information on Netsuite as well, but not a priority

Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  1. Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer to learn more about the organization
  2. Conduct thorough market research and analysis of industry reports/forecasts on Salesforce cloud adoption trends
  3.  Identify emerging technologies, use cases, and industry verticals driving demand for specific clouds
  4. Evaluate competitive landscape and market share of different Salesforce partners/consultancies in each cloud

Project Synopsis: Expected Results
  1. Provide clear, data-driven recommendations on which Salesforce cloud our organization should prioritize for investment and resource allocation over the next 5 years. Measurable results could include:
    1. Put together a proposal to share with the leadership team on where Plative should plan its resourced
    2. Identify the specific cloud projected to experience the highest year-over-year growth rate
    3.  Quantify the potential revenue opportunity or total addressable market for services in that cloud
    4. Outline a roadmap with specific initiatives to build expertise and market share in the target cloud
    5. Set benchmarks for new client acquisitions, certified professionals, and revenue targets tied to the focus cloud
