| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | The Global Presence is an international nonprofit that champions 21st-century education for 21st century Life Skills. This they accomplish via three primary means: 1/ Illuminating the centrality of Life Skills for individuals and the communities they construct, thriving. 2/ Unifying and supporting Life Skills professionals. 3/ Promoting a more proactive and professional Life Skills educational process for all persons. Life Skills, as defined by The Global Presence, are skills every human being learns in some measure. Examples include environmental, emotional, and financial literacy.
Background: Presently, most people learn the Life Skills they use daily from individuals rarely formally educated in these critical skills themselves - parents. The majority of chronic social problems stem from this antiquated Life Skills educational process.
Project Goals: While the organization has built a strong professional network—particularly on LinkedIn—it faces a challenge in translating that momentum into a cohesive, engaging, and multi-channel digital presence that resonates with broader audiences. |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | In this project, students will evaluate The Global Presence’s current digital and social media footprint and develop a strategic communication approach that strengthens brand clarity, audience engagement, and message alignment across platforms. The work will focus on understanding how different audiences—such as life skills professionals, parents, and emerging adults—discover, interpret, and engage with life skills content online. Students will assess existing content, messaging, and channel performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend ways to harmonize fragmented narratives into a unified voice.
|
| Project Synopsis: Expected Results | The final deliverables will include a clearly articulated digital engagement strategy, audience segmentation insights, platform-specific content recommendations, and example campaigns or content concepts that The Global Presence can test and refine immediately. The project is designed to help the organization move from an underutilized social presence to a more intentional, scalable communication model that supports long-term growth, community building, and mission impact.
