| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | KEEPING SENIORS FEELING LOVED IS AT THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO. In March 2020, we (temporarily) paused our signature in-person program serving teens and seniors. At the same time, demand for our service skyrocketed. Within days we pivoted and mobilized our teen volunteers and greater community to reach isolated seniors in care. We created My Dear Friend. Our goal is to reach 50,000 isolated seniors in care in all 50 states with our My Dear Friend cards between November 1st and December 15th, 2024. We would like to raise $50,000 with this program.
|
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | - Research and analysis of data/impact of the past 3 years of this award winning program.
- Design updated materials to scale the marketing and messaging of this campaign to reach target goal of 50,000 cards delivered to isolated seniors - Create a fundraising plan of diversified revenue streams (combination of sponsors, donors and other programming ideas) towards financial goal - Strategy to secure 500 senior homes around the country (based on past outreach) and create relationships at senior level with these networks. |
| Project Synopsis: Expected Results | Deliverables:
- Research and analysis summary to understand and distill the key parts that should be continued and can amplify towards this year's goals - Marketing decks/one-pagers within our brand identity that allow us to solicit corporate and other sponsors, engagement of card writing individuals and organizations, individual donors, in-kind donors, - Provide updated templated materials for the activity to take place without key GG staff in other parts of the country - Strategic plan for fundraising and actionable steps to launch starting August 2024 - Plan for Senior home network engagement at the executive level Ultimately these key documents will lay the groundwork to launch this program in August 2024 and attain our program and financial goals in 4th quarter. |
