Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Vibe Pirate is a music discovery platform designed to help young people (ages 16–30) share and discover their favorite vibes in real time. The startup is seeking to achieve rapid user growth and develop a sustainable revenue model by targeting Gen Z and young Millennials through virality, community engagement, and seamless onboarding. The company has traction, a clear vision, and is now ready to build and test a business plan that supports its ambitions for expansion, investment, and long-term monetization.
MBA students will work closely with Vibe Pirate’s founders to design and test a business plan grounded in real data. The focus will be on evaluating acquisition strategies, conversion tactics, monetization models, and identifying the right metrics to drive user growth and financial sustainability.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required

  • Develop a business plan that includes:
    • Gross sign-up projections
    • Follower and conversion rate assumptions
    • Pricing model scenarios
    • Revenue and expense forecasting
    • Budget for national/international expansion
    • Fundraising and investment model
  • Identify methods and tactics for achieving viral adoption in key demographics (16–30-year-olds).
